National Counter Terrorism Center, Abuja

The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Abuja is a 120,000-sq-ft, purpose-built command complex by DBLO Associates Architects, completed by DBLO Construction in March 2023. Sited in the Three Arms Zone at Asokoro, the secure hub folds offices, a world-class operations/crisis hall, laboratories, an auditorium and multiple meeting suites into a climate-responsive envelope whose high-thermal-mass base and solar-shaded upper floors slash cooling loads.

 

Commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, the 24/7 facility fuses intelligence, crisis management and training under one roof, positioning Abuja as West Africa’s leading centre for counter-terrorism coordination and innovation.
