Coral Pavilion
Coral Pavilion is a 310 m², all-white beach pavilion on Ilashe peninsula, Lagos. Designed by Oshinowo Studio and completed in 2022. Accessible only by boat, the linear structure frames uninterrupted lagoon views with low, clean lines, deep roof overhangs and a deck that floats above the sand like a horizon-line. Painted motifs, pigmented-concrete furnishings and locally made furniture add bursts of colour to the otherwise minimalist shell, while the open plan enjoys prevailing sea breeze and generous shade to create a naturally ventilated day-retreat for dining, lounging and celebration.
Featured in ArchDaily, Wallpaper*, World Architecture Community and other international outlets, Coral Pavilion has become a global reference for contemporary Nigerian beach architecture. Read the full press coverage on our Publications page.
