MBARI KOLA CULTURE CLUB & ART GALLERY
A former 1960s family house in Ikoyi, Lagos, becomes Mbari Kola, a cultural club and art gallery inviting African creatives to gather around art, partake in talks and workshops, and celebrate community.
The architect inspired by the laterite soil in this home region of owerri designed the ombre effect of the facade to allure to the transition from the building's cultural roots into its aspiration goals of discovery.
